Holiday Cheer

I love when November and December roll around for many reasons, one big one being the food! It is impossible to find Ghirardelli peppermint bark anywhere during the year, and I am completely obsessed with the stuff, so I buy way too much of it as soon as it pops up on the shelves. I also can't help but snatch up anything and everything pumpkin flavored. Within the last week I have shamelessly bought and consumed pumpkin flavored donuts, coffee, bagels, muffins, and bread. It's probably an addiction at this point.

On another note I started Christmas decorating so once the tree goes up there will be pics of that. Our kitty will have her first Christmas and she is already getting in the spirit!

The pumpkin muffin was fantastic and I even went so far as to get pumpkin cream cheese for my bagel...no regrets

Tourist

Shorts: gifted
Wedges: Charlotte Russe
Charm Wrap Watch: Shopbop similar {here
Purse: vintage

Socks with sandals is such a tourist move, but I am allowed to try every so often considering I have lived in Florida my whole life. The slightly cold air has subsided for now, and we are back to shorts weather for the time being. This is how the sunshine state welcomes December I guess! I didn't really tame my hair today, but no worries a braid fixes everything!

P.S. I am in love with the embroidery on this blazer <3

I did not get the chance to go Black Friday crazy, but I did hop all over Cyber Monday deals (I can't help but buy when there is free shipping!). I would post these awesome finds, but alas I cannot because most are Christmas presents. I can't imagine the best way to keep those a secret is to paste them up on a public website! Did anyone else make some money-saving purchases this past weekend?

Family Moments

Thanksgiving would not be complete without some family, some food, and a gorgeous view! I stuffed myself thrice and I have no shame, I just love taters, green bean casserole, and gravy...lots and lots of gravy! I am now ready to switch gears and start decorating for Christmas. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and safe Black Friday!

I love wearing red during the holidays, it really does add excitement to any outfit. Just add a pencil skirt to a crop top for a chic professional look. Also these heels are to die for, loveee them! Who else is excited for Thanksgiving tomorrow? Almost time to stuff my face with taters and turkey, that my friends is pure happiness :)

Printed Yellow

It was a lovely day here in Florida and I was feeling particularly productive, so I decided to do an outfit of the day post. It is still rather warm here for "winter" so my jacket isn't necessary as long as the sun is up! I'm still waiting for scarf weather, but it doesn't look like that will happen any time soon. No complaints though, I have always been a summer kinda gal!

Outfit Details
Leopard Print Button-Up: Bealls
Yellow Jeans: thrifted

Snakeskin Clutch: gifted
Nude Pumps: Lulu's

My hair's a bit of a mess, but there's only so many days I can toy with it, and today was not one of them! Le sigh....

P.S. I'm thinking about hosting a giveaway when I reach either 50 or 100 followers. Giveaways are fun, so please follow!

Lazy Days

On Monday my boyfriend, Justin, and I decided to go to the park to play a little basketball and frisbee. It was super hot outside so after getting my butt kicked at sports (as usual) I abandoned that dream and made friends with the swing set...something a bit more breezy and less exhausting. I love Florida weather, but it is best paired with a beach or pool scene than a park. I will definitely choose the beach next time!

This is, as Justin puts it, me with my imaginary friend :)

After being tuckered out from the park we went to the thrift store...no influence from me what-so-ever! Okay maybe just a tad. I managed to score a framed lion picture for my sister and this really cute painting of palm trees!

I also managed to get a few new pieces for my wardrobe even though I am on a strict budget at the moment, but I couldn't help myself! I thought the crop top would look cute with some high-waisted jean shorts. I also love the beaded design on the red racer-back tank! Amazingly I got all these pretty things for a steal--only $25! How can you not love that!?
